The Alte Turm / Old Tower in Mettlach
is facing the future Anna Boch Museum.
The Alte Turm is the oldest building in the German State, Saarland.
The tower was erected over 1300 years ago in 676.
It was the funeral chapel for Saint Luitwinus.



The Keramik Museum was initated by Luitwin von Boch and run by Dr Therese Thomas.




In April 2010 a permanent Anna Boch exposition
will be inaugurated in the Alte Abtei / Old Abbey Building in Mettlach
facing the Alte Turm / Old Tower.
